The Team
ALLEN SCOTT (DJ STATIK)
Allen Scott has just celebrated 30 years of being a DJ in and around the Northern Rivers.
Allen has travelled as far as Bundaberg, Moree and Shepparton spinning 45’s… in the 80’s, mixing beats, scratching of the 90’s, CDs of the Millennium and now with the latest digital music.
Allen is a fun and vivacious character and is sure to have your guests up and dancing.
VIC LETO (Retro, DJ VIC)
Vic’s experience in the entertainment industry commenced in the early 1980’s when part of Sydney City Council’s Parks and Recreation Department staff team that first launched lunch-time entertainment programs to Martin Place. Around the same time, impressed by Vic’s music knowledge and sensing his potential, he was offered his first gig as a DJ with Preferred Sounds.
By 1988 (before his move to Lennox Head) Vic was freelancing as a DJ at various mobile gigs all around Sydney, including guest spots at venues like St. George Leagues Club’s ‘Down Under Bar’ and as the resident DJ at the Hotel Sans Souci (legendarily known as Mick Moylan’s Pub).
In 1990 after a couple of years as Byron Bay Beach Resort’s Activities Officer, Vic met Allen and the Disco Statik team was formed. As one of the original DJ outfits, together they have carried throughout an absolute proven record and reputation for providing the best, most professional and popular entertainment services of the entire Northern Rivers region.
